Area Arrests And Accidents 12/29/22

The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

12-26-22 Marla O’Dell, age 57, of Kincaid was arrested by Kincaid PD on a warrant for theft.

 

12-28-22 Joshua Bland, age 47, of Assumption was arrested by CCSO for theft and possession of meth.

 

12-28-22 Emma Oller, age 19, of Taylorville was arrested by CCSO for illegal consumption by a minor.

 

12-28-22 Brianne Ford, age 20, of Taylorville was arrested by CCSO for illegal consumption by a minor.

 

11-23-22 Chad Jett was heading east on State Road 16 in Rosamond township when he struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

12-21-22 Riley Matheny and Ashley Whitehead were traveling westbound on US Highway 104 when a garbage bag of aluminum cans blew out of Matheny’s pull-behind trailer. Whitehead was unable to avoid the cans and struck them on the driver-side front bumper. No injuries. No tow.

 

12-26-22 Marina Woolsey was traveling east on IL Route 104 at about 975 East when she lost control on an icy road surface. Woolsey went off the south side of the roadway into a plowed field. Woolsey rolled one complete time and the vehicle came to rest on the wheels. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Woolsey was taken to the hospital.

 

12-26-22 Rebekka Cole was traveling northwest on IL Route 104 at approximately 850 E. Cole ran off the roadway, spinning out and crashing into the ditch embankment with the rear of the vehicle. No injuries and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

12-26-22 Brianna Thomas was eastbound on 1350 N. Road when she slid through the curve at 2300 E. and went into the ditch. Thomas needed a tow to get out of the ditch, but was able to drive from the scene. No injuries.

 

12-26-22 Susan Lombardo was westbound on 900 N. turning north onto 2500 E. Road when she slid off the roadway at the intersection and struck a phone box and gas line warning pole. The vehicle needed a tow to get back on the roadway but was able to drive from the scene. No injuries.

 

12-26-22 Beau McDonald was traveling north on 1250 East Road when a deer jumped out in front of the driver. McDonald was unable to avoid hitting the deer. No injuries. No tow.

 

12-27-22 Dillon Lucas was traveling east on IL Route 104 at about 850 East when he struck a deer in the roadway. The vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries.

 

12-28-22 Dorris Melvin was westbound on IL Route 104 at approximately 92 East when a deer, possibly two ran into the driver’s side of the vehicle. The vehicle sustained major body damage and the drives side window was shattered, however, it was able to be driven from the scene. No injuries

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

John W. Evrley Jr., age 36, of Taylorville was arrested for Driving While Registration Suspended.

 

12/28/22

 

Damery Binkley, age 40, of Taylorville was arrested for Domestic Battery.
