The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

09-12-22 Gerald Powyszynski, age 24, of Pana was arrested by CCSO on a warrant for possession of meth.

Arrests

09-10-22 Zachary Clutter, age 29, of Pana was arrested by CCSO for domestic battery.

Crashes All over 18

08-27-22 Amy Bethard and Nicholas Johnson were involved in a traffic accident in King township. Bethard had been traveling east on 700 North Road approaching an intersection with 200 East Road. Johnson had been traveling north on 200 East Road approaching the same intersection with 700 North Road. Bethard failed to yield the right-of-way to Johnson and continued into the intersection causing Johnson to collide with Bethard. Both drivers were taken by ambulance and both vehicles were towed from the scene.

09-4-22 Justin Kirchhoff was traveling in Taylorville township on 1330 North Road when he left the roadway and struck a tree. The vehicle was towed from the scene and no injuries were reported.

09-06-22 Jeremy Wallace was traveling north on County highway 6 (2300 East) at the curve at 1350 North in Assumption township. Wallace failed to negotiate the curve to the west onto 1350 north, left the roadway and made contact with the ditch. Wallace was able to pull out of the ditch and stop on the roadway. Wallace was taken to the hospital by ambulance and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

09-07-22 Samantha Stine was traveling westbound on County Highway #2, in Mt. Auburn Township, and was approximately 1/10 of a mile west of Township Road 1240 E. Stine stated a black, pickup truck, traveling eastbound, started drifting over into her lane. Stine exited the roadway to the right to avoid striking the other vehicle. Stine came back onto the roadway and overcorrected, sending her skidding in a clockwise direction. Stine exited the roadway into the north ditch, striking the northside embankment, and proceeded into a corn field. Stine traveled approximatley 100 feet in the corn field before exiting back into the ditch, where she came to rest, facing south. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

09-11-22 Lana Cross was traveling in Assumption township on Route 51 when she struck a deer in the roadway. The vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries.

Kaile M. Overby, age 31, of Taylorville was arrested for Burglary to a Motor Vehicle.

Thomas E. Coy, age 57, of Taylorville was arrested for Aggravated Battery.

Matthew M. Yattoni, age 41, of Morrisonville Illinois was arrested for Driving while License Revoked and Possession of Methamphetamine less than 5 grams.

Dotty M. Eppenger, age 35, of Taylorville was arrested for Criminal Damage to Property.

Tylor C. Gesell, age 23, of Taylorville was arrested on a Warrant.
