The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

08-25-22 Bobbie Abberley, age 54, of Pana was arrested by Kincaid PD for possession of a controlled substance and possession of meth.

08-25-22 Wendy Haycraft, age 35, of Hillsboro was arrested by Montgomery County on a FTA warrant for canc/revoke/suspended regis/IL.

08-25-22 Clarence Coghlan, age 66, of Edinburg was arrested by Edinburg PD on a FTA warrant for possession of meth.

08-26-22 Logan Gattons, age 19, of Taylorville was arrested by CCSO on a FTA warrant for driving on suspended license.

08-26-22 Heaven Miller, age 27, of Taylorville was arrested by CCSO on a FTA warrant for possession of meth.

08-28-22 Charles Baker, age 46, of Pana was arrested by Pana PD on a FTA warrant for driving on suspended license.

08-28-22 Amisha Anderson, age 32 of Springfield was arrested by CCSO for driving suspended/revoked license.

Crashes

07-30-22 Heather Jones was traveling north on 900 East Road in Taylorville township just before 1700 North Road when she ran off the roadway. Jones then struck an Ameren utility pole on the east side of the roadway causing major damage to the vehicle and the pole. The vehicle was towed from the scene. No injuries.

07-30-22 CCSO was dispatched to the intersection of 150 North Rd. and 1250 East Rd., in Greenwood Township, for a one vehicle accident involving injuries. Jana Leighs had been traveling northbound on 1250 East Road approaching an intersection with 150 North Rd. As Leighs approached the intersection, there was a witness vehicle making a right hand turn to the east off of 1250 East Road. Leighs crossed over the center line and continued through the intersection in attempt to avoid striking the witness vehicle. Leighs then left the roadway and struck a ditch embankment causing the backseat passengers of Leigh’s vehicle to be thrown from the car. Leighs came to a rest along the ditch embankment. The vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver and passengers were taken to hospitals.

Alexis I. Givens, age 41 of Taylorville was arrested on a Warrant.

Sheila J. Albright, age 59, of Taylorville was arrested for Criminal Trespass to residence

Steven M. Schmedeke, age 64, of Taylorville was arrested for DUI.
