Area Arrests And Accidents 08/22/22

The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

08-18-22 Eric Humes, age 28, of Riverton was arrested by CCSO  for violation of probation or conditional discharge.

 

08-19-22 James Williams, age 20, of Edinburg was arrested by Edinburg PD for aggravated battery to a police officer.

 

08-20-22 Clint Hadden, age 46, of Taylorville was arrested by Kincaid PD for possession of meth.

 

08-21-22 Nathan Livingood, age 34, of Bethany was arrested by Assumption PD for disorderly conduct, aggravated battery to a police officer and resisting/obstructing a police officer.

 

08-22-22 Matthew Strohl, age 34, of Pana was arrested by CCSO for DUI.

 

Crashes

 

08-15-22 Sue Taylor and Zachariah Bolander were involved in a traffic crash in Locust township. Bolander was traveling south on 2000 East Road. Bolander approached 900 North Road and stopped. Bolander then had to advance in the intersection to see around trees and weeds in the ditch. Bolander stated that he was first to the intersection that had no stop or yield signs posted. Bolander advanced through the intersection. Taylor was traveling west bound on 900 North Road. Taylor approached the intersection and failed to yield the right of way. Taylor hit Bolander in the intersection. Taylor’s vehicle was towed from the scene and Taylor was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

 

08-20-22 Evan Champley was traveling south on 1800 east in Locust township just north of 1100 north road. Champley left the roadway on the west side of the road where the vehicle made contact with a culvert. The vehicle crossed the culvert and headed towards the east ditch. The vehicle hit the east ditch and rolled one time. The vehicle came to rest on the roof facing west. Champley was pulling a trailer with a 4-wheeler on it. The trailer and 4-wheeler ended up in the west ditch opposite from the truck. No injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

08-20-22 Donald Enlow Sr. was involved in a traffic crash in Kincaid. Enlow Sr. was backing out of a parking spot in the east parking lot of the Church of God in Kincaid when he struck the parked vehicle.  Enlow Sr. received damage to the rear drivers side of the bumper. The front license plate of the parked car was damaged due to the accident. No injuries. No tow.
