Taylorville Police Department reports the following to Regional Radio News from the weekend. 

Brandon S. Giddens, age 28, of Flora IL was arrested for Retail Theft and Possession of Stolen Property.

Briar D. Samson, age 27, of Taylorville was arrested on a Warrant.

Susan R Fisher, age 44, of Kincaid was arrested on a Warrant.

Robert D. Burke, age 40, of Taylorville was arrested on a Warrant. 

James B. Middleton, age 24, of Taylorville was arrested for Battery.

Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News from the weekend. 

06-10-22 Susan Fisher 44 was arrested by Kincaid on a failure to appear warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

06-10-22 Briar Samson 27 was arrested by TPD on a failure to appear warrant for domestic battery.

06-10-22 Ryan Tarrant 30 was arrested by CCSO on a warrant for burglary.

06-10-22 Kyle Greer 32 was arrested by TPD for a body attachment warrant.

06-10-22 Layla Schuyler 25 was arrested by Sangamon County on a warrant for possession of meth.

06-11-22 Jennifer Hanson 41 was arrested by CCSO on a failure to appear warrant for driving on suspended license.

06-11-22 Robert Burke 40 was arrested by TPD on a failure to appear warrant for driving on suspended license.

06-11-22 Kyle Brown 26 was arrested by CCSO on a warrant for Indecent Solicitation of a child.

06-11-22 Isaiah Baker 20 was arrested by Pana PD on a failure to appear for driving on suspended license.

06-11-22 Eric Welge 20 was arrested by CCSO for DUI.

06-13-22 Angie Dooley 44 was arrested by CCSO for domestic battery.

Crashes/Incidents

06/09/22 – Alyssa Bauks driving a 2015 GMC Sierra struck an idle vehicle turning eastbound from Route 104 to Route 29. Bauks had followed Lilly Price, who drove a 2006 Chevy Cobalt, and did not slow down in time and hit Price’s bumper. Both vehicles drove away from the scene. Officers issued a ticket to Bauks for excessive speed. No injuries reported.
