Area Arrests And Accidents 06/06/22

The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

06-03-22 Britnay Salmons 21 was arrested by CCSO on a failure to appear for driving on a suspended license.

 

06-03-22 Kendy Mayes 41 was arrested by TPD for theft.

 

06-04-22 Justin Pickrell 20 was arrested by TPD for theft and aggravated fleeing or eluding.

 

06-05-22 Joshua Johnson 36 was arrested by TPD for DUI and resisting a peace officer.

 

06-03-22 Amanda Emerson was traveling eastbound on township road 1600 E. in May township when she struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries. No tow.

 

06-04-22 Bradley Moore was traveling  northbound on 2100 E. Rd. in Pana when he drove into a ditch. He was transported to the hospital and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

 

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

Gabriel A. Declerck, age 31, of Taylorville was arrested for Operating a Vehicle with Suspended Registration. 

 

6/04/22
Justin L. Pickrell, age 20, of Springfield was arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Aggravated Fleeing and Eluding.

 

Shelby A. Poole, age 35, of Taylorville was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. 

 

6/05/22
Joshua D. Johnson, age 36, of Nokomis was arrested for DUI and Resisting Arrest.

 

On May 31st at 3:46 PM Matthew Buchanan of Herrick and Angela Durbin of Taylorville were both traveling south on NorthWest Avenue and came upon the intersection of West Spresser Street.  A semitruck approached the intersection, traveling east on West Spresser and turning left.  Buchanan backed up to give the truck driver more room by putting it into reverse and backed into Durbin.  No injuries were reported.  Buchanan received a citation. 

 

On June 3rd at 8:24 AM James Dulakis of Morrisonville was turning left moving south onto South Wyandotte Street.  Dulakis misjudged the space and hit a parked vehicle. No injuries were reported.  Dulakis received a citation.
