Area Arrests And Accidents 05/31/22

The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

05-26-22 Scott Woods was traveling on US Route 51 in Assumption township when he struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries. No tow.

 

05-27-22 Carol Buerk was traveling on north on IL Route 29 in Locust township when she struck a deer in the roadway. No injuries. No tow.

 

05-28-22 Jaclyn Harris and Kathy Ebert were traveling on Leafland in Assumption when Harris bumped into the back of Eberts vehicle at the stop sign. Ebert was transported to the hospital. No vehicles needed towed.

 

05-28-22 Sandra Fahl was traveling southeast on 6th Street in Morrisonville in a side by side ATU. Fahl braked to hard at the intersection causing the side by side to roll onto the driver’s side. Fahl and middle passenger were transported to the hospital. The left side passenger refused treatment and the vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

Kristopher K. Blankenship, age 42, of Taylorville was arrested on a Warrant.

 

5/28/22
Jack D. Fixsal, age 27, of Morrisonville was arrested for DUI.

 

Jacob A. Bright, age 26, of Taylorville was arrested Driving while Revoked. 

 

5/30/22
Ashely N. Lowis, age 37, of Morrisonville was arrested for Driving while License Suspended. 

 

Adam G. Brachear, age 35, of Taylorville was arrested on a Warrant. 

 

Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle accident on May 27th at 8:49 AM on Madison and Main Cross.  Barbara Waddell of Taylorville was heading south on Madison Street. Patricia Parkson of Taylorville was headed east on Main Cross Street.  According to Police, Waddell failed to yield at the intersection and struck Parkison in the drivers side door.  Waddell received a citation.  Parkson was taken to TMH for her injuries. 

 

Taylorville Police also responded to a vehicle accident on May 22nd at 5:22 PM on West Springfield Road. A vehicle visited the drive-thru window of LP Coffee and Creamery and struck the awning canopy above the drive-thru window causing considerable deformation of the structure.  The driver was an unidentified male driving a silver 2000's era Dodge Pickup towing a white enclosed trailer.
