The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

05-24-22 Roy Bates 41 was arrested by Pana PD  for domestic battery.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

5/24/22

James B. Middleton, age 24, of Taylorville was arrested for Driving While License Suspended.

Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle crash on March 30th at Washington and Wilson Street. Jorge Ortega of Taylorville was traveling south on Washington Street and Emily Tylman of Springfield was traveling east on Wilson Street.  Ortega failed to stop at the stop sign and entered into the intersection as Tylman's vehicle as she was entering the intersection,  Tylman struck the side of Ortega.  No injuries were reported.

A minor was involved in a vehicle accident on May 20th. Robert E. Fox was heading north and was struck by a minor from Taylorville who failed to yield.  Fox then proceeded north and struck a hand railing and steps on the outside of the house. No injuries were reported.
