The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

On 11/5/21 Jennifer K. Buzzard age 37 of Auburn IL was arrested for Retail Theft

On 11/5/21 Katelyn A. Melvin age 23 of Taylorville was arrested for Possession of methamphetamine

On 11/5/21 Briar D. Samson age 26 of Taylorville was arrested for a warrant

On 11/6/21 Justin L. Sexton age 25 of Taylorville was arrested for a warrant

On 11/7/21 Beverly A. Miller age 47 of Taylorville was arrested for a warrant

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

11-5-21 Briar Samson 26 was arrested for domestic battery. 

11-6-21 Justin Sexton 25 was arrested for possession of meth, resisting a police officer and and violation of a bail bond.

11-6-21 Destiny Smith 20 was arrested for driving suspended.

11-6-21 Spencer White 32 was arrested for battery.

11-7-21 Tawana Hall 39 was arrested for driving suspended.

11-5-21 Hanna Fancher was traveling eastbound on county road 4 in Stonington township when she struck a deer. No tow. No injuries.

11-7-21 Gerald Schmitz was in Greenwood township traveling southbound on 1250 E at 369 N when he struck a coyote. The vehicle had minor body damage and was disabled. It was towed from the scene.

11-8-21 Bruce Sain was in Prairieton township traveling east bound on county 4 when he struck a deer. The vehicle sustained non disabling damage.
