The Christian County Sheriff's Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

10-30-21 Kayla Sparling 29 was arrested by TPD for failure to appear.

10-20-21 Jeremy Masters 31 was arrested by TPD for burglary and theft.

On 10-29-21, Mary Spinner was traveling northbound on Illinois Route 29, approximately 1/4 of a mile south of Township Road 800 N, when a deer entered the roadway. Spinner was unable to avoid striking the animal. Her vehicle received front-end damage. No injuries were reported.

On 10-30-21 Jeffrey Cunningham  WAS TRAVELING WESTBOUND ON CTY 10 AT APPROXIMATELY 76E WHEN A DEER WAS IN THE ROAD. CUNNINGHAM COULD NOT STOP OR MANUEVER AS THERE WERE GUARD RAILS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ROAD. CUNNINGHAM HIT THE DEER AND TRAVELED PAST THE POINT OF IMPACT APPROX 100 FEET WHERE IT CAME TO A STOP AND NOTIFIED 911

The Litchfield Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

On October 30, 2021 at 2331 hours, the Litchfield Fire Department was dispatched by Montgomery County 911 to a report of a vehicle fire.  The first arriving unit arrived to find the bed of pickup truck heavily involved in fire beginning to impinge upon the remainder of the truck and a truck park adjacent to the east. The fire was quickly extinguished with the use of a 1 ¾ inch hoseline.  The incident was declared under control at 2341 hours.  The fire was fought by 4 personnel, staffing 2 apparatus.  
The fire is currently under investigation by Litchfield Fire and Police Departments and anyone with information about the fire is encouraged to contact the Fire Department at 324-8171.
