The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

28 year old Byron Kay of Pana was arrested on Friday for theft and criminal trespass.

24 year old Justin Sexton of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for domestic battery.

29 year old Chase Tilley of Mount Auburn was arrested on Saturday for DUI.

38 year old Joseph Foreman of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for aggravated battery.

Christian County Sheriff’s responded to a vehicle accident on Wednesday. Douglas Gaddis was southbound on IL Route 29 in Locust Township when he struck a deer at 1875 East. No injuries were reported.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

24 year old Justin L. Sexton was arrested on Friday for domestic battery.

38 year old Gary J. Foreman of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for aggravated battery.

24 year old Charles C. Lair of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday on a warrant.

Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle crash on the morning of July 10th. Brian J. Sklenka was exiting from Kroger Parking Lot onto the 200 block of East Bidwell. John Sassatelli was traveling westbound and Sklenka stated he did not see Sassatelli approaching due to a Cub Scout Car Wash.  Both vehicles collided. No injuries were reported. 

Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle accident on July 9th. MacKenzie Graham of Taylorville told police she approached the intersection at East Main Cross and North Cherokee Street and stopped at the stop sign. When she entered the intersection she hit Seyfina C. Pocrnich of Taylorville. Graham was issued a citation. No injuries were reported.
