The Christian County Sheriffs Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;
57 year old Patrick Weaver was arrested on Monday for disorderly conduct.
27 year old Jessica Junior of Moweaqua was arrested on Monday for driving while license suspended.
39 year old Cody Brantley of Pana was arrested on Monday for possession of Meth.
36 year old Trisha Weakley of Pawnee was arrested on Monday on a FTA warrant for possession of meth.
Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle crash on Friday, June 11th. Paul Mendenall of Decatur and Matthew Saunders of Rosamond were both southbound on Illinois Route 48. Saunders was driving a semi-truck and began turning north onto Spresser Street. Mendenall, stated he looked down at his phone and didn’t see the semi truck turning striking the rear of the vehicle. No injuries were reported, but Mendall was issued citations for no valid registration, improper use of electronic communication device, driving while license suspended, and operation of uninsured motor vehicle.
On Monday, Gabriel Jeffrey was northbound on IL Route 29 in Owaneco. Jeffrey began to turn westbound onto locust township road 900 N. Jeffrey failed to yield to the southbound vehicle driven by Adem Ademi. The two vehicles crashed in the intersection causing damage to both. Minor injuries were reported. Jeffrey was issued a citation for failure to yield.
