Area Arrests And Accidents 06/14/21

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

38 year old Cameron G. Turner of Decatur was arrested on Friday for domestic battery. 

 

38 year old Paul D. Mendenall of Decatur was arrestedon Friday for driving on a suspended/revoked driver’s license.

 

24 year old Matthew Hoover of Pana was arrested on Saturday on a FTA warrant for meth delivery and new charges of possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of burglary tools, and possession of hypodermic syringes.

 

25 year old Skye A. Halleman of Pana was arrested on Sunday on a FTA warrant for criminal trespass and an FTA warrant for possession of meth.

 

37 year old Ashley C. Bertoldi of Riverton was arrested on Monday on a FTA warrant for burglary. 

 

Erin Moeller was northbound on County Highway 22 on the Mount Auburn Blacktop on Saturday when she failed to negotiate the curve at 1800 north and struck a road sign with her car. No injuries were reported.

 

Another vehicle accident involved Carol Moomey and Richard Rueff, who were both involved in a crash on Illinois Route 48 and May Township Road 1700 North on Saturday. Moomey was eastbound on 1700 North and stopped at the stop sign at IL Route 48. Moomey failed to yield to the Southbound Rueff vehicle and struck the left side of his vehicle. No injuries were reported. Moomey was issued a citation for failure to yield.

 

On Saturday, Christopher Dempsey was westbound on 1100 North and was approaching the Yield sign at 1400 East when he failed to yield to the northbound vehicle being driven by a minor striking the right side of it. No injuries were reported. Dempsey was issued a citation for failure to yield. 

 

On Sunday, Quinten Christopher was northbound on County Highway 22 approaching County Highway 2. Christopher lost control of the vehicle and slid through the intersection, striking several road signs. No injuries were reported. Christopher was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
