The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

31-year-old Ashley J. Vandiver of Vandalia was arrested on Tuesday on a warrant for retail theft.

50-year-old Jill R. Parker was involved in a single-vehicle accident on Sunday after an accident at 1240 N 1350 East Road. Parker was transported to a local hospital.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

44-year-old Dale Detmers of Witt was arrested on Monday for possession of meth under 5 grams.

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on the morning of June 24th. 31-year-old Katherine E. Brown of Taylorville was backing eastbound from a parking space in the Park Glen Apartments parking lot at 630 N. Webster Street in Taylorville. 90-year-old Helen L. Barlow of Taylorville was traveling southbound in the same parking lot. Brown stated she did not see Barlow traveling behind her and both vehicles collided. Neither driver reported injuries, but Barlow’s vehicle was heavily damaged.
