Area Arrests And Accidents 3/13/20

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

40 year old Megan R. Lynn from Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday on an original arrest warrant for a 2019 charge of possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $150,000

 

18 year old Eric R. Welge of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for illegal possession and transportation of liquor. 

 

27 year old Alyssa J. Richardson of Springfield was arrested on Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a possession of methamphetamine charge from 2019. Bond was set at $7,500.

 

23 year old Patrick D. Emmerling of Bulpitt was arrested on Thursday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a possession of methamphetamine charge from 2018. Bond was set $5,000.

 

James H. Bedinger of Taylorville reported to the Christian County Sheriff’s Office that he struck a deer westbound on County Highway 10 at 1200 East on Monday evening.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle rolllover on the morning of February 26th. Raymond A. Bright of Stonington was traveling south on 1025 East Road. The vehicle lost control and drove off the road and ended up on its side.

 

On Wednesday afternoon, The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident at Route 29 and 2100 North Road in Edinburg for an accident involving two vehicles. Darrell E. Edwards of Edinburg had been traveling west on 2100 North Road and attempted to cross over IL Route 29. Edwards failed to yield to southbound traffic and collided with Cynthia L. Herpstreith of Taylorville who had been traveling on IL Route 29 in the right southbound lane. After the collision Herpstreith continued off of the roadway and struck a stop sign with two other traffic signs attached to it. Herpstreith then came to rest in a drainage ditch. Herpstreith came to rest in the right southbound lane of IL Route 29. Both Edwards and Herpstreith refused medical treatment on the scene. Herpstreith had a family member transport them to TMH to check for injuries. IDOT came by later to repair the stop sign. 

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on Monday afternoon. Nickolas J. Harlow of Kincaid was driving westbound in the 600 block of West Poplar Street when Heather L. Davidson of Taylorville backed out east bound out of the driveway of 627 West Poplar. Davidson’s rear bumper collided with the passenger side doors of Harlow. Davidson received a citation. No injuries were reported.
