Area Arrests And Accidents 2/20/20

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

35 year old Kevin R. Hendricker of Kincaid was arrested on Wednesday on an original arrest warrant for a 2018 domestic battery charge. Bond was set at $5,000.

 

29 year old Tanner R. Gronewald of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2018 charge of criminal damage to property. Bond was set at $1500.

 

41 year old Joseph R. Hadley of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for criminal damage to property and violating an order of protection.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

Three juveniles were arrested on Wednesday afternoon after police were called to a fight at Menta Academy. They were transported to TPD for processing. Probation was contacted. The ages of the juveniles were 16, 13, and 14.

29 year old Tanner R. Gronewald of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for driving while license suspended and a Christian County warrant.

 

A 12 year old, 13 year old, and a 14 year old male juvenile were all arrested on Wednesday for retail theft.

41 year old Joseph R. Hadley of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for violating a court order and criminal damage to state property.

 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on the morning of February 12th. Abbey N Spencer of Taylorville was behind Doran A. King of Mount Zion. King was waiting to turn into a parking lot at 2231 West Spresser Street. Spencer hit King. No injuries were reported.

 

Taylorville Police responded to a vehicle crash on February 13th. David M. Luttrell of Edinburg and Tamara R. Fisher of Kincaid were northbound on Illinois Route 29 just north of 1700 Road. Luttrell stated that they became distracted for a second and did not see Fisher in front of them. The front end of Luttrell’s car collided with the rear end of Fisher’s vehicle. Both units sustained damage. No injuries were reported. 

 

Taylorville Police were dispatched to the area of Hawley and Springfield road on February 13th in reference to a construction sign that had been struck. Upon arrival, TPD observed a city-owned construction sign laying near that sidewalk with extensive damage. TPD observed tire marks onto the boulevard. Officers received a call of an individual that had been driving down Webster Street and a tire fell off the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle with the tire that fell off was arrested for DUI. Anthony R. Villanueva of Taylorville was arrested for the DUI. It was also learned that Villanueva struck the construction sign on Springfield Road. The driver was arrested for DUI, leaving the scene of a property damage incident and cited for improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
