The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

31 year old Jarod M. Wright of Taylorville was arrested on Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2018 charge of contempt of court. Bond was set at $750.

43 year old Joshua W. Carter of Stonington was arrested on Monday for domestic battery.

26 year old Zachary P. Clutter of Pana was arrested on an original arrest warrant for a 2020 charge of failure to return from furlough. Bond was set at $25,000.

33 year old Mitchell D. Manion of Pana was arrested on Sunday for domestic battery.

27 year old Justin M. Mckay of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for DUI, Driving on a suspended/revoked license, improper lane usage, and aggravated fleeing police.

18 year old Eric R. Welge of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a leaving the scene of an accident with vehicle damage charge from 2018.  Bond was set at $2,500.

26 year old Derrick L. Covington of Pana was arrested on Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a possession of methamphetamine charge from 2019. Bond was set at $3,500.

35 year old Jacob A. Samson of Taylorville was arrested on Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a driving suspended charge from 2019. Bond was set at $2,500. 

29 year old Aimee N. Miller of Pana was arrested on Saturday on an original arrest warrant for a driving on a suspended license charge from 2019. Bond was set at $2,500.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Saturday evening. Brittany N. Hall of Morrisonville was traveling south on 1025 East, just south of 1330 North when a deer entered the roadway.  Hall was unable to avoid hitting the deer and received damage. No injuries were reported. 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Friday evening. Nicole D. Bailey of Owaneco was traveling westbound on 800 N Road ½ mile west of 1500 E. A deer ran out from the north side of the road and she struck the deer on the front passenger side. The vehicle was still driveable and no injuries were reported.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

18 year old Eric R. Welge of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday on a Christian County Warrant and zero tolerance DUI.

27 year old Justin M. McKay of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for driving under the influence and aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer. McKay was processed and taken to C.C.C.C. for holding in lieu of bond.

28 year old Meaghan A. Stone of Rosamond was arrested on Sunday for driving while license suspended.

32 year old Michal T. Solomon of Springfield was arrested on Saturday for no valid driver’s license.

30 year old Ethan W. Peden of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for no valid driver’s license.
