Area Arrests And Accidents 1/24/20

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

55 year old Brian L. Moses of Palmer was arrested on Thursday for driving on a suspended/revoked license.

 

The Christian County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle accident on Thursday morning. 25 year old Fallon D. Summers of Benton was traveling northbound on Illinois Route 29 and had just passed township Road 1900 N. Fallon stated she was driving in the left passing lane when the vehicle started to slide on the ice-covered roadway. The vehicle exited the roadway to the left entering the median and striking a wrong way sign. No injuries were reported. 

 

The Christian County Sheriff's Office also responded to a vehicle accident on Wednesday morning. 67 year old John D. Bisby Sr. was traveling eastbound on West North Street in the Village of Stonington when he approached the stop sign at the intersection with Illinois Route 48 and was going to proceed south on Route 48. As he began his turn he struck an aluminum light pole with the rear passenger side trailer tires. No injuries were reported.

 

The Christian County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle accident on the morning of January 20th. 28 year old Jesse D. Hartley of Edinburg was traveling south on County Highway 5 and maneuvering through a curve just south of 1900 North Road. Hartley overcorrected in the curve and went off the road to the west crashing into the ditch and coming to rest on the roof.  Hartley refused medical. 

 

The Christian County Sheriff's Office responded to a vehicle accident on the afternoon of January 17th.  38 year old Tiffany M. Buerk of Taylorville was traveling south on 1600 East Road.  Due to ice, the driver lost control and slid off the roadway hitting a utility pole. No injuries were reported. 

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

25 year old Shane J. Horve of Nokomis was arrested on Thursday for driving while license suspended.

 

41 year old Robert E. Fuller of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday for driving while license suspended or revoked and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

 

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

20 year old Grayson H. Beyers of Pana was arrested on January 4th for illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor after a traffic stop. She received a notice to appear.

 

39 year old Sabrina R. Reed of Shelbyville was arrested on January 7th for driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle after a traffic stop. 

 

44 year old Danette M. Frey of Shelbyville was arrested on January 8th for driving while license revoked and an active Effingham County Warrant after a traffic stop. 

 

26 year old Max W. Mosely of Pana was arrested on January 19th for possession of methamphetamine under 5 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

25 year old Tanner C. Wiseman of Pana was arrested on January 19th for possession of methamphetamine under 5 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

39 year old Aaron A. Mace of Effingham was issued a citation on January 19th for possession of drug paraphernalia.
