The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;
21 year old Quintin Tippitt of Mount Auburn was arrested on Saturday for DUI.
52 year old Michelle A. Hott of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest, meth delivery, and possession of a controlled substance.
44 year old Tanja Flemming of Morrisonville was arrested on Saturday for possession of methamphetamine.
37 year old Damery L. Binkley of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for domestic battery.
20 year old Brogan D. Hull of Boca Raton, Florida was arrested for on Saturday for possession of cannabis.
56 year old Sammy Wells of Springfield was arrested on Sunday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2019 charge of burglary. Bond was set at $25,000.
Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Friday morning. 27 year old Nashe A. Harlan of Decatur was traveling southwest on Illinois Route 48 at 1982 North. Harlan slowed and was making a turn into the parking lot of Monsanto Corp. A semi tractor-trailer combination was stopped or slowed behind Harlan. A vehicle driven by 48 year old Tonya K Smith of Moweaqua went to pass the semi-truck and crashed into Harlan’s vehicle as they were turning. No injuries were reported.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Friday evening. 28 year oldThaddieous A. Sutton of Springfield was backing into the driveway of 4119 Lincoln Trail, which is on the north side of the road. Sutton admitted to being stopped in the middle of the roadway prior to reversing. As Sutton was trying to reverse, 79 year old Walter W. Baird of Taylorville collided with Sutton on the driver’s side. No injuries were reported.
A Kincaid man reported that he had been at Y-zoes on December 31st from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM playing gaming machines. The next day he noticed damage to his front driver side bumper. The damage was low, so he believes it could have been caused by a trailer. He believes he was hit while he was parked in the parking lot of Y-zoes.
On January 1st, 18 year old Wesley E. Dixon of Rosamond reported striking a deer on 400 North Road around 2415 East Road. After Dixon struck the deer, he lost control and the vehicle came to rest in the bottom of a waterway with standing water in it. No injuries were reported.

37 year old Damery L. Binkley of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for domestic battery.
41 year old Donald E. Runyon Jr. of Kincaid was arrested on Friday for driving while license suspended.
A male juvenile was arrested on Friday for retail theft.
34 year old Wesley K. Potts of Peoria was arrested on Saturday for a Peoria County warrant.
30 year old Breanne M. Bouvet of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for driving while driver’s license suspended.
56 year old Sammy Wells III of Springfield was arrested on Sunday for a valid Christian County and Sangamon County Warrants.
44 year old Cara M. Montgomery of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for retail theft.
Johnny L. Cantrell of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday for driving revoked and issued a citation for speeding.
