The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

46 year old Andrew A. Heberling of Palmer was arrested on Saturday evening for domestic battery.

21 year old Shaitavia S Cook of Decatur was arrested on Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2018 charge of driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $2,500.

30 year old Julie A. Davis of Vandalia was arrested on Friday on an original arrest warrant for a 2019 charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $5,000. 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Saturday evening. 98 year old Josephine X. Magos of Tovey left the roadway and continued traveling through the mud for approximately 100 yards off of E 1650 N Road.

Magos stated she didn’t know she left the roadway until her vehicle got stuck in the mud. No injuries were reported. 

65 year old Robert W. Simmons of Moweaqua reported hitting a deer on County Highway 4 near 2450 East. No injuries were reported.
