The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

45 year old Curtis L. Worker of Pana was arrested on Thursday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2017 charge of driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $500.

32 year old Dontrell D. Franks of Springfield was arrested on Thursday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2019 charge of forgery and a 2019 charge of retail theft. Bond was set at $2,500.

29 year old Joshua C. Wells of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday for violating an order of protection. 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident Thursday evening. 23 year old Ashley M. Karaianas of Langleyville had a vehicle coming towards her as she was driving on 1075 E Road near 1451 N Road.  Karaianas went off the roadway into the ditch to avoid being hit. No injuries were reported. Karaianas’ vehicle was towed away from the scene.

67 year old Nancy L. Leach of Owaneco reported striking a deer Thursday afternoon ½ mile north of 1600 East Road on Illinois Route 29.  No injuries were reported. 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

29 year old Joshua C Wells of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday for violation of a no contact order.

32 year old Dontrell D. Franks of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday on a Christian County Warrant.
