The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on the evening of December 5th. 17 year old Allison M. Beck of Tower Hill hit a deer going westbound on 250 North Road near 2530 East. No injuries were reported.  

The Sheriff's office was notified of a vehicle accident on the evening of December 2nd. 26 year old Lucas T. Dillon of Kincaid reported that he was traveling somewhere in the vicinity of 600 E Road near 1550 N when a deer entered the roadway. Dillon swerved but in so doing put his vehicle in the ditch causing front end damage. No injuries were reported.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on the evening of December 4th. 59 year old Randy F. Miller of Tower Hill was traveling east on 400 North Road and struck a deer at 2575 East.

On December 1st at 5:57 PM, 27 year old Austin J. WIlhour of Owaneco had been traveling eastbound on 900 North Road at 1625 E when he hydroplaned and left the roadway to the right becoming stuck in standing water. The vehicle continued to float closer to a creek bank. No injuries were reported.

The Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon. 68 year old Allen A. Deutsch of Taylorville was traveling eastbound on 1200 North Road while 36 year old Seth D. Mudd of Lincoln was traveling northbound on Illinois Route 51 in the right-hand lane. As Deutsch approached the intersection with 51, he stopped checked fro traffic then continued through the intersection. Both vehicles collided and no injuries were reported.

50 year old Robert A. Abberley of Pana was arrested on Saturday for violation of bail bond.

60 year old Diane R. Buchanan of Pana was arrested on Sunday for violating an order of protection.

59 year old Russell C. Ishmael of Pana was arrested on Monday for domestic battery.

24 year old Kyle K. Richards of Pawnee was arrested on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2016 retail theft charge. Bond was set at $17,000.

46 year old Heather Obil of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for DUI.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

On December 5th 47 year old Janette L. Funderburk of Taylorville was westbound on Springfield Road when 83 year old Howard L. Pile of Taylorville failed to see her and struck her vehicle. Pile received a citation, Funderburk reported possible injuries but refused medical.

17 year old Alexis N. Christer of Taylorville hit a utility pole at Manners Park in Taylorville while trying to turn the headlights on Sunday evening. No injuries were reported.

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on the early morning of November 30th. 33 year old Matthew D. Puccetti of Edinburg was headed southbound on the 400 block of West Spresser and missed his turn driving off the roadway down a ditch and into a farm field. No injuries were reported. 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on the morning of December 4th. 34 year old Tejalben A. Patel of Taylorville backed into the vehicle of 49 year old Carrell N. Kermit of Pana near 613 West Market Street.  No injuries were reported.

40 year old Jason B. Casner of Taylorville was arrested for driving while license suspended.

22 year old Blake A. Knight of Morrisonville was arrested for retail theft.
