Area Arrests, Accidents, And Fire Calls 10/31/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

A minor was southbound on County Highway 22 in Buckhart Township. The driver stated a westbound vehicle on County

Highway 4 pulled out in front of her and almost stopped in the roadway. The driver then advised she steered left to avoid the other vehicle and left the roadway. The minor struck the Stonington Road Sign with the left side of the vehicle.  No injuries were reported. 

 

27 year old Amanda Vanostran was arrested on Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2019 driving on suspended license charge. Bond was set at $3,000.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon. 18 year old Talia A. Moffett from Taylorville was waiting to turn left onto Northern Avenue from Sportsman Drive. Moffett failed to yield and struck the vehicle driven by 29 year old Taylor R. McManigell of Taylorville. No injuries were reported. 

 

23 year old Jack A.P. Fulk of Stonington was arrested for driving under the influence. 

 

35 year old Ashley N. Beaman of Audubon was arrested for theft of motor fuel, check fraud and possession of methamphetamine.

 

The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

There was 1 EMS call and 1 smoke scare between 9 AM on Wednesday and 9 AM on Thursday.
