The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

47 year old Robbie D. Sparling of Taylorville was arrested on Monday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a possession of a controlled substance charge from 2018. Bond was set at $10,000.

18 year old Eddie E. Cousins of Kincaid was arrested on Saturday on a driving on suspended license charge.  He was released on his own recognizance.

39 year old Leanna M. Grissom of Pana was arrested on Saturday on a bond forfeiture warrant from a 2016 DUI charge. Bond was set at $5,000.

51 year old Renee M. Cox of Kincaid was arrested on Friday on an original arrest warrant for a 2018 fraudulent practice charge. Bond was set at $7,500.

40 year old Jeffery L. Shanks of Kincaid was arrested on Saturday on an original arrest warrant for a 2019 theft labor/services charge. Bond was set at $2,500.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Sunday evening. 18 year old Dayne E. Niehart of Pana stated to officers that he was becoming sick as he was driving north on Fairgrounds in Pana. He thought he was going to vomit as he was driving and attempted to pull over, leaving the roadway and driving over a street sign, causing damge to the front end and undercarriage of the vehicle.  He was able to drive away from the scene.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon 31 year old Ashlie D. Ledbetter of Stonington was traveling southbound on Illinois Route 48 3/10 of a mile south of Township Road 2300 N. The driver lost control and hydroplaned, spinning across the northbound lane and struck hte east side, north end guardrail with the rear, passenger side. The impact caused the vehicle to rotate in a clockwise direction into the east ditch. The vehicle received major damage on the passenger side. No injuries were reported.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on October 19th in the evening. 54 year old Dennis A. Lawyer of Taylorville and 46 year old Joshua M. Brown of Taylorville collided at the intersection of Illinois Route 29 and 1800 N Road. No injuries were reported. 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

25 year old Martine I. Lyles of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for possession of drug paraphernalia.

40 year old Jeffrey L. Shanks of Taylorville was arrested on Friday on a warrant.
