The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

40-year-old Douglas W. Cowell of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday on an original arrest warrant for a 2019 charge for violating an order of protection.  Bond was set at $100,000.

 

34-year-old Kyle G. Sheley of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2019 theft charge.  Bond was set at $5,000.

 

63-year-old Clarence D. Coghlan of Edinburg was arrested on Tuesday on an original arrest warrant for a 2019 charge for possession of methamphetamine.  Bond was set at $5,000.

 

34-year-old Angela D. Spinner of Morrisonville was arrested on Tuesday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2018 charge related to an expired driver's license.  Bond was set at $1500.

 

Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

34-year-old Kyle G. Sheley of Taylorville was arrested on a Christian County Warrant.

 

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested for aggravated battery and resisting arrest.

 

40-year-old Douglas Cowell of Taylorville was arrested on a Christian County Warrant.

 

Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on the 200 block of West Main Cross. 56 Stephen L. Debrun of Taylorville was headed East and had slowed because of traffic in front of him. A minor driving behind struck the rear of Debrun’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. The minor was given a citation.

 

A minor was riding north on the afternoon of September 24th on the sidewalk of Walnut and Main Cross.  A vehicle driven by 35 year old Jonathan G. Tarrant of Mount Auburn was exiting the alleyway. The minor struck the side of Tarrant’s vehicle. The minor sustained minor injuries, but the parents refused medical. Tarrant had minor damage to the vehicle.

 

The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

There were 3 EMS calls and 1 fire between 9 AM on Tuesday and 9 AM on Wednesday.
