Area Arrests, Accidents, And Fire Calls 10/2/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News:

 

20 year old Emileigh K. King of Morrisonville was arrested on Wednesday for a theft charge with bond set at $2,500.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News:

 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on the morning of September 28th. 37 year old Adam D. Bolte of Springfield was stopped in traffic on the 500 block of Cheney Street in Taylorville, waiting for another vehicle to turn when a car driven by a minor from Taylorville struck the rear end. No injuries were reported and the minor was given a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on Main Street and Main Cross Street on the evening of September 27th. A vehicle driven by 32 year old Aaron L. Whitaker of Taylorville was parked westbound when he proceeded to enter the roadway and travel westbound. However, his vehicle didn’t have enough clearance and struck the rear end of the parked vehicle. Whitaker proceeded to leave the scene and was located later on.  No injuries were reported and Whitaker was given a citation for failure to give information after striking an unattended vehicle.

 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on Friday afternoon at the Wal-Mart Parking Lot. A vehicle driven by 66 year old Lawrence J. Fleigle of Morrisonville backed up and hit a vehicle driven by 45 year old Christopher A. Edwards. No injuries were reported. 

 

The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News:

 

There was 1 EMS call and 1 Personal Assistance Call between 9 on Tuesday morning and 9 on Wednesday morning.
