The Christian County Sheriff’s office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

39 year old Steven A. Douglas of Ramsey was arrested on a bond forfeiture warrant from a 2002 case for failure to appear. Bond was set at $1,000.

54 year old Scarlet D. Farlow of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday on a bond forfeiture warrant from a 2018 charge for possession. Bond was set at $5,000.

53 year old Julie K. Whitehead of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for domestic battery.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office learned of a vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon. 39 year old Amanda R. Emerson of Assumption reported that she hit a deer on the way home. The deer was hit somewhere on 2100 N Road. No injuries were reported.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Wednesday afternoon. 32 year old Timothy R. Kocurek of Kincaid was traveling south on 900 E Road near 1825 N Road. Kocurek hit a deer. No injuries were reported.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle crash on Tuesday. 86 year old Joseph L. Qualls of Taylorville was traveling southbound on Illinois Route 48. Qualls traveled off the roadway to the right into the ditch. The vehicle continued in the ditch and struck an embankment at 531 N IL Route 48. Qualls drove the wrecked truck to Casey’s in Morrisonville. The vehicle sustained unknown damage and QUalls was taken to Taylorville Memorial Hospital.

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle crash on Monday evening. 48 year old Sarah N. Sneed of Taylorville was forced off the roadway on IL 29 due to a vehicle coming her way. She went over the curbing at the entrance of Caps Cars, causing damage to two tires and the wheels as well as damage to the rocker cladding.
