The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News:

30 year old Spencer D. Hill of Assumption was arrested on Tuesday for aggravated battery.

39 year old Jeramiah D. Johnson of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday on an original arrest warrant. Bond was set at $5,000.

24 year old Jamie D. Sizemore of Owaneco was arrested on Tuesday on a bond forfeiture warrant stemming from a 2019 traffic case. Bond was set at $7,500.

43 year old Keith L. Wiseman of Effingham was arrested on Tuesday on a bond forfeiture warrant stemming from a 2011 case. Bond was set at $50,000.

27 year old Amanda M. Vanostren of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday on a bond forfeiture warrant stemming from a 2019 case for possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $7,500.

30 year old Annyssa R. Myers of Virden was arrested on Tuesday on a bond forfeiture warrant stemming from a 2018 case. Bond was set at $1,500.

28 year old Steven M.E. Wilson of Kincaid was arrested on Tuesday for domestic violence.

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident on Tuesday evening. 28 year old Samantha M. Salmons of Blue Mound was traveling northeast on Route 48. The driver stated she saw an animal that resembled a large cat cross the road in front of her, causing her to hit her breaks and make her vehicle skidded into the southbound lane. Salmons then ran off the roadway on the left colliding with a stop sign on 2300 North Road finally stopping on Route 48 just north of 2300 North Road. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed.

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon. A minor from Taylorville was traveling eastbound on 1000 North Road and was approaching 900 East Road, a “T” intersection. The minor began to turn right onto 900 East traveling too fast and lost control. The minor left the roadway to the left striking a culvert in the ditch. No injuries were reported.

27 year old Delaney S. Dilley of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for battery.

39 year old Jeramiah D. Johnson of Taylorville was arrested for Retail Theft and a valid Christian County Warrant.
