Area Arrests, Accidents, And Fire Calls 9/9/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

21 year old Thomas L.R. Painter of Taylorville was arrested on Friday on a bond forfeiture warrant for a 2018 case involving leaving the scene of an accident with motor vehicle damage.  Bond was set at $7,500.

 

20 year old William T. Morrissey of Kincaid was arrested on Friday for the consumption of alcohol by a minor.

 

28 year old Justin A. Jett of Hewitville was arrested on Friday for leaving the scene of an accident with motor vehicle damage, reckless damage to property, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, and disorderly conduct.

 

28 year old Angelique Ayers of Taylorville was arrested on Monday on a bond forfeiture warrant from a 2018 case involving theft.  Bond was set at $3,000.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident at 590N 1250 East on Thursday evening. 23 year old Cody M. Caraker of Taylorville was headed south on County Highway 1 near 590 North when a coyote entered the roadway.  Caraker hit the coyote and caused damage to the front end of the vehicle and the motor. The vehicle was towed. No injuries were reported. 

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to multiple accidents in the town of Taylorville on the afternoon of September 5th. 40 year old Brent A. Phegley of Shelbyville was headed south on Route 29. Phegley’s back right tire was gone and he was driving on the rim. Phegley tried to turn right on 1600 East Road and hit the vehicle driven by 59 year old Marcia R. Mckinnie of Taylorville as Mckinnie was stopped at a stop sign. Phegley was arrested. The vehicle driven by Phegley was stolen out of Springfield. 

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident on the evening of September 1st. A vehicle driven by Lee F. Huskisson of Taylorville was headed north on IL Route 48 at about 90 East and hit livestock coming to rest in the north ditch. No injuries were reported.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident on the evening of September 1st. A vehicle driven by Vone Keomala of Urbana was traveling south on IL Route 48 at about 90 East and hit livestock. No injuries were reported.

 

The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

There were 5 EMS calls between Friday morning at 9 and Monday morning at 9.
