Area Arrests, Accidents, And Fire Calls 9/5/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

29 year old Charles M. Carron of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday on a bond forfeiture warrant stemming from a 2019 case. Bond was set at $10,000.

 

18 year old Christopher J. Clark of Edinburg was arrested on Wednesday for theft and no driver's license. 

 

47 year old Joshua W. Koons of Pana was arrested on Thursday on a bond forfeiture warrant stemming from a 2006 case for failure to appear. Bond was set at $100.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

29 year old Charles M. Carron of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday on a Christian County Warrant.

 

27 year old Bayleigh M. Durham of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday for driving while license suspended.

 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on Thursday.  82 year old Helen Jansen of Effingham was backing out of a parking spot on the square at the intersection of Main and Main Cross and struck the vehicle driven by 23 year old Brianna R. Buttery of Taylorville. No injuries were reported and Jansen was given a citation for improper backing.

 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon. 35 year old Christopher R. Ager of Taylorville was stopped in traffic in the 900 block of West Spresser Street. 17 year old Chelsey L. Durbin of Taylorville was behind Ager’s vehicle and changing lanes. Durbin struck Ager’s vehicle. No injuries were reported. 

 

The Taylorville Police Department responded to a vehicle accident on E. Park Street and North Main Street on the afternoon of August 24th. A Ford pickup was traveling westbound on East Park Street towards the intersection of North Main Street. A minor was traveling northbound in a Lincoln Sedan on North Main Street towards the intersection of East Park Street. The minor stopped at the stop sign but failed to yield for the Ford pickup as he crossed the intersection westbound. The minor pulled out in front of the Ford and was struck in the passenger side of the vehicle. The pickup truck received disabling damage to the front end of the vehicle. Both vehicles were towed from the scene and there were three possible injuries due to the accident. The minor received a citation for failure to yield at an intersection.

 

The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

There were 2 EMS Calls and 1 Fire call between Wednesday morning at 9 and Thursday morning at 9.
