The Christian County Sheriff’s office reported the following to Regional Radio News;
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Monday morning. Nicholis B. Smith of Kincaid was was pulling a trailer northbound on East Street in Jeisyville. Just prior to First Street, Smith drove off the roadway entering the east ditch. The trailer being pulled hit a utility pole causing damage to the pole and a power outage. The trailer received a bent rim.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident Sunday morning at 10:02 AT 90 East IL Route 48 in Harvel. Marion F. Kirkpatrick of Harvel was traveling southwest on IL route 48 and struck a cow. No injuries were reported, and Kirkpatrick was able to drive away.

53 year old Curtis R. Burney of Bulpitt was arrested on Tuesday for criminal damage to property.
38 year old Terry D. Griffin of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for an original arrest warrant stemming from a 2018 charge for disorderly conduct. Bond was set at $275.
24 year old Ronald D. Fisher of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday for a bond forfeiture warrant stemming from a 2017 charge for theft. No bond amount was listed.
31 year old Dustin J. Johnson of Denver, Colorado was arrested on Saturday for an original arrest warrant from 2009 involving driving under the influence. Bond was set at $500.
34 year old Megan M. Klespitz of Pana was arrested on Monday for an original arrest warrant stemming from a 2017 charge for driving under the influence. Bond was set at $500.
22 year old Lindsey M. Middleton of Taylorville was arrested on Monday for a bond forfeiture warrant stemming from a 2017 charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $5,000.
31 year old Dana N. Melvin of Kincaid was arrested on Monday for a bond forfeiture warrant stemming from a 2018 charge of driving revoked/suspended. Bond was set at $15,000.
37 year old Alan J. Logsdon of Shelbyville was arrested on Monday for possession of methamphetamine.
46 year old Cheri L. Cott of Taylorville was arrested on Monday for residential burglary.
39 year old Megan R. Lynn of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for domestic battery.
46 year old Jeremy J. Beard of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for domestic battery.

There were 13 EMS calls, 2 smoke calls and 1 personal assistance call between 9 on Friday morning and 9 on Tuesday morning.
