Area Arrests, Accidents, And Fire Calls 8/21/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio news:

 

56 year old Carl Dudley of Litchfield was arrested on Tuesday for a bond forfeiture warrant from a 2012 case related to domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,000.

 

29 year old Kellie Wingo of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for a bond forfeiture warrant from a 2019 case related to driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $3,000.

 

45 year old Bobby J. Miller of Virden was arrested on Tuesday for an original arrest warrant from a 2019 case for domestic battery/bodily harm. Bond was set at $3,500.

 

36 year old Sara L. Redfern of Taylorville was arrested on Monday for a bond forfeiture warrant from a 2017 case related to possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $5,000.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon. 22 year old Ashley M Karaianis of Taylorville was northbound on Illinois Route 48. Witness stated that they saw Karaianis’ vehicle start to spin out near 1844 Route 48. A vehicle driven by 49 year old Shannon A. Morrison of Stonington went off the roadway on the west side to avoid the crash but Karaianis hit Morrison’s vehicle. Karaianis refused treatment at the scene and Morrison was taken to Springfield Memorial Medical Center. Karaianis received a citation for failure to reduce speed.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle accident on Monday afternoon near 2590 E 100 North Road. Pana Ambulance had already transported the driver, 41 year old Sean R. Moore of Decatur to Pana Community Hospital. The vehicle had been traveling eastbound when Moore lost control left the roadway and struck a ditch embankment causing the vehicle to overturn and come to a rest on its roof in a cornfield.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident on Monday morning. 22 year old George L. Rever of Pana was northbound on Pana Township Road 2200 East. Just north of Township Road 250 North, Rever stated he was distracted from inside the vehicle with something related to the windshield wipers. Rever drove off the road to the right for approximately160 feet, overcorrected and came back across the roadway and into the left ditch. The vehicle overturned coming to rest on its top. While Rever didn’t appear to be injured, he stated he was going to get checked out at the local hospital.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News:

 

29 year old Kellie Wingo of Taylorville was arrested on a Christian County Warrant.

 

45 year old Bobby J. Miller of Edinburg was arrested on a Christian County Warrant.


The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News:

 

There was 1 EMS call between 9 on Tuesday morning and 9 on Wednesday morning.
