Area Arrests, Accidents, And Fire Calls 8/7/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

52 year old Charles D. Kile of Pana was arrested on Tuesday for a warrant stemming from a 2019 incident involving driving on a suspended license.  Bond was set at $1,500.

 

30 year old Tyler J. Dull of Pana was arrested on Tuesday for a warrant stemming from a 2019 incident involving driving on a suspended license. Bond was set at $3,000.

 

29 year old Tylour S. Howard of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for a warrant stemming from a 2016 driving under the influence case.  Bond was set at $2,000.

 

27 year old Cassandra M. Talbot of Riverton was arrested on Wednesday for 2 counts of theft.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident on Monday afternoon on County Highway #10. Grant W. Jones of Raymond was traveling northbound on a grassy/gravel private drive approaching county highway #10. After Jones passed the residence at 1022 E., he proceeded to pull onto the roadway to turn left. Brent E. Wallace of Herrick, stated he saw Jones pull out from the drive applied his brakes and attempted to maneuver to the left to avoid hitting Jones. Wallace struck Jones in the westbound lane of the roadway. Due to the impact Jones proceeded into the north ditch, while Wallace ended up in the north field lane and came to rest in a planted bean field. Jones was transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries. Wallace wasn’t injured in the accident.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle accident on Tuesday evening. Jesse A. Daniels of Taylorville struck a cow on 200 East just south of 200 North Unit 1. No injuries were reported.


The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

49 year old Ann Stafford of Taylorville was arrested on Tuesday for public intoxication, open container, two counts of retail theft, and criminal trespass.

 

The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

The Taylorville Fire Department responded to 4 EMS calls between 9 on Tuesday morning and 9 on Wednesday morning.
