Shelby County Arrests--July

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

50-year-old Norah J. Legnon of Tower Hill was arrested on July 10th for violation of an order of protection.

 

45-year-old Brandon O. Faulkner of Shelbyville was arrested on July 13th after deputies responded to 816N and 1800E in reference to a vehicle that had run off the road striking several mailboxes, fences, posts, poles, a phone box, and two gates. Witnesses identified the driver.  He was later arrested at his residence and charged with leaving the scene of an accident--vehicle damage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and failure to report an accident to police authority. 

 

26-year-old James W.D. Cooper of Shelbyville was arrested on July 13th for filing a false police report, leaving the scene of an accident involving personal injury or death, driving while license is revoked, driving to fast for conditions and operating an uninsured vehicle after a traffic accident at 1915E 2/10 mile south of 1100N. Cooper had originally reported the vehicle was stolen but it was later determined this was false and Cooper was, in fact, the driver. 

 

47-year-old Devin D. Workman of Jacksonville was arrested on July 15th for driving on a suspended license after a traffic stop. 

 

50-year-old Troy P. Riley of Cowden was arrested on July 16th for possession of methamphetamine.

 

37-year-old Tashina D. Riley of Cowden was arrested on July 16th for possession of methamphetamine.

 

60-year-old Daniel P. Reese of Missouri was arrested on July 17th for driving while license revoked after a traffic stop.

 

21-year-old Katelyn M. Mathis of Jacksonville was arrested for possession of methamphetamine after she was found walking on Route 16 2/10 miles west of Tower Hill. 

 

50-year-old Norah J. Legnon of Tower Hill was arrested on July 21st for violation of an order of protection
