Area Arrests, Accidents, And Fire Calls 7/16/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

24 year old Jeri M. Woodson of Bulpitt was arrested on Tuesday for criminal damage to property under $300.

 

33 year old Ralph J. Smith of Taylorville was arrested Monday for DUI.

 

50 year old Dwight D. Rozplochowski of Taylorville was arrested Monday for violating reporting provisions.

 

41 year old Ronald E. Nigh of Toledo, Ohio was arrested Monday for aggravated domestic battery. 

 

48 year old Mike Welge Jr. of Taylorville was arrested Tuesday for failure to appear or answer questions.

 

18 year old Willie Jr. Jones II of Taylorville was arrested Monday for aggravated battery to a police officer. 

 

18 year old Trae A. Fisher of Kincaid was arrested on Monday for retail theft.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

18 year old Travis J. Sanders of Assumption was arrested Monday for cannabis. 

 

30 year old Keith J. Wheeler of Taylorville was arrested Friday for possession of methamphetamine.

 

18 year old Willie Jr. Jones II of Taylorville was arrested Monday for aggravated battery to a police officer.

 

A juvenile was also arrested Monday for aggravated battery to a police officer as well in the same incident.

 

The Taylorville police department responded to an accident at Grant Court in Taylorville on Saturday afternoon.  49 year old David H. Madus of Taylorville backed his vehicle up and hit a vehicle owned by Horve Construction the vehicle had been driven there by Todd Herbord who was performing construction services on a neighbor's house.  No injuries were reported.  Both drivers exchanged information.  

 

The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

There were 2 EMS calls between 9 AM on Monday and 9AM on Tuesday.

 

Regional radio news incorrectly put that Travis Sanders was arrested for methamphetamine.  This is not the case. The sheriff's report said he was arrested for cannabis. Regional Radio News apologizes for the misinformation.
