Area Arrests, Accidents, And Fire Calls 7/15/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle crash on Tuesday morning.  51 year old Erik M. Rover of Roby was headed northbound on County Highway 2 when a deer entered the roadway near 1185 East near Mount Auburn.  The deer went on top of the hood of the vehicle and caused damage to the fender, headlight, and the top driver's side of the front windshield.  No injuries were reported.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle crash on Wednesday morning.  33 year old Seth G. Reber of Taylorville was traveling southbound on 900 East Road.  Reber swerved to miss a deer and overcorrected coming to rest in a ditch. No injuries were reported.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a vehicle crash on Friday afternoon.  48 year old James C. Williams of Taylorville was headed north on Illinois Route 29 near the intersection of 400 N. Road.  Williams stated that he attempted to pass a tractor that was also traveling north bound.  Williams said something in the front end of his vehicle became loose and he lost control driving off the roadway. Williams hit an embankment in front of 422 Illinois Route 29 and traveled into the yard.  Williams was taken to the hospital with a back injury by POV.

 

25 year old Tracy D. Williams of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for driving on suspended revoked license.

 

30 year old Spencer P. White of Edinburg was arrested Sunday for driving on suspended revoked license.

 

23 year old Hannah R. Harden of Jeiseyville was arrested Friday for theft.

 

30 year old Keith J. Weller of Taylorville was arrested Friday on a warrant.

 

40 year old Brooke P. Key-Peifer of Shelbyville was arrested Sunday on a warrant.

 

18 year old Travis Sanders of Taylorville was arrested Monday for two counts of possession of cannabis.

 

38 year old Jeremy E. Reiss of Pana was arrested for theft of under $300.

 

26 year old Kimberley A. Carrell of Pana was arrested Monday for a warrant.


The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

There were 8 EMS calls and one fire call between 9 AM on Friday and 9 AM on Monday.
