Area Arrests, Accidents, And Fire Calls 7/8/19

The Christian County Sheriff’s office reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

37-year-old Elizabeth A. Coatney of Nokomis was arrested Sunday for two counts of possession of methamphetamine and obstructing justice. 

 

18-year-old Willie HJ Jones of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for resisting a peace officer.

 

29-year-old Matthew L. Mcintyre of Langleyville was arrested Sunday for fleeing police, driving on suspended/revoked license and obstructing justice.

 

18-year-old Trae A. Fisher of Kincaid was arrested Sunday for resisting a peace officer.

 

23-year-old Cody L. Smith of Pana was arrested Sunday for possession of methamphetamine.

 

34-year-old Justin M. Cammarano of Decatur was arrested Sunday for driving on a suspended revoked license.

 

27-year-old Shalee M. Bayne of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for possession of methamphetamine.

 

41-year-old Aron C. Strunk of Morrisonville was arrested on Friday for threatening a public official.

 

38-year-old Annie M. Crawford of Taylorville was arrested on Friday for DUI/Alcohol.

 

18-year-old Christopher D. Webster of Riverton was arrested Sunday for criminal damage to property.

 

The Christian County Sheriff’s office responded to a call on the morning of June 29th. 18-year-old Coltin A. Ashley of Pana was traveling northbound on Township Road 2500E about a ½ mile north of Township Road 100 N when a deer entered the road.  Ashley swerved to avoid hitting the deer and exited the roadway to the left, then striking the west ditch. No injuries were reported.


The Taylorville Police Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

34-year-old Cameron G. Dickey was arrested Saturday for driving while license suspended.

 

29-year-old Matthew L. Mcintyre of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for aggravated fleeing and eluding, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, driving while license revoked, and obstructing justice.

 

37-year-old Elizabeth A. Coatney of Nokomis was arrested Sunday for possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, obstructing justice, and a valid Christian County Warrant.

 

20-year-old Lavaughn Miller of Springfield was arrested Saturday for driving revoked and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration.
 
The Taylorville Fire Department reported the following to Regional Radio News;

 

There were 5 EMS calls and one fire call between 9:00 on Friday morning and 9:00 on Monday morning.
