THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS: 

John Shuster, 31, of Springfield was arrested on April 16th on an original arrest warrant for theft/deception. 

THE CHRISTIAN COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT REPORTS THE FOLLOWING ACCIDENT: 

On April 16, Monica Alsbary, 33, of Macomb, Illinois was traveling south on County 23(800 east) when a deer entered the roadway.  Alsbary left the roadway to avoid the deer and caused damage to the front end of her 2004 Dodge Durango.  The vehicle was able to be driven away from the scene. 

THE TAYLORVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORT THE FOLLOWING ARRESTS: 

Brett Durbin, 22, of Taylorville was arrested on April 16th for driving while license suspended. 

On April 16th, James Assad Jr., 21, of Taylorville was issued citations for failure to wear a seatbelt, driving while license suspended, and for no insurance.
