The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News on Thursday:

65 year old Sandra Elder of Mount Auburn and 84 year old Thomas Graham of Stonington were in an accident on October 30th at 2:11 in the afternoon. Elder was traveling eastbound on township road 2500 North and was approaching the intersection with Township Road 2000 East. According to the accident report, Graham was traveling southbound on Township road 2000 east and was approaching the intersection with Township road 1500 North. Graham was half way through the intersection when he was struck by Elder according to the accident report. The impact forced Elder to rotate in a clockwise direction before coming to a rest. Graham also spun in a clockwise direction towards the southeast corner of the intersection. Graham came to a rest in the east ditch of Township Road 2000 east facing north east. Elder received front end damage, and Graham received major passenger side damage.

38 year old Jeremy Stark of Pana was arrested on Thursday on a charge of burglary, and attempt to escape an officer.

33 year old Patrick Butler of Springfield was arrested on Wednesday on a charge of fleeing police, and theft.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News on Thursday:

45 year old Heather Obil of Taylorville, and 59 year old Barbara Estes of Taylorville were in an accident on October 29th at 1:35 in the morning. According to the accident report, both vehicles were northbound on Cheney Street. Estes had to stop, and Obil was traveling behind, and was not able to stop on time and struck the back of Estes. Obil received front end damage, and Estes received rear end damage. Estes was transported to TMH by Dunn’s ambulance because of neck and hip pain. Obil was issued a citation for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
