The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News on Friday:

45 year old Velma Copeland of Kincaid was arrested on Thursday on a charge of driving on a suspended or revoked license.

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests and accidents to Regional Radio News on Friday:

55 year old Joan Havener of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday on a charge of selling alcohol to a minor.

23 year old Heaven Miller of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday on a charge of selling alcohol to a minor.

27 year old Brenann Crowe of Taylorville was arrested on Thursday on a charge of selling alcohol to a minor.

74 year old Leroy Shelton of Taylorville, and 59 year old Mary Hughes of Palmer were in a car accident on September 4th at 11:04 in the morning. Hughes was traveling east in the 100 block of West Market Street. Shelton was attempting to back out into traffic from a parking spot in the same area. Shelton did not see Hughes, and struckk Hughes’ vehicle. Both cars were able to drive away from the scene.

17 year old Daniel Gardner of Taylorville, 35 year old Jodi Hendricks of Taylorville, and 26 year old Peyton Turvey of Taylorville were in an accident on September 4th at 5:19 in the evening. Gardner was looking in his mirror and did not see the car in front of him had stopped according to the accident report. Gardner failed to break in time and rear ended Hendricks. Hendricks was forced from impact to him the rear end of Turvey.
