Area Arrests/Accidents 9/05/18

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests and accidents to Regional Radio News on Wednesday:

 

36 year old Kristina Kline of Taylorville was in an accident on September 1st at 9:26 in the evening. Kline was backing out of a driveway of 208 South Brents in Langleyville. According to the accident report, Kline struck a car parked on the roadway while backing up. Kline had minor damage to the back, passenger side bumper. The parked car had damage to the back, driver’s side bumper.

 

35 year old Julia Thornton of Nokomis, and 57 year old Jeffery Miller of Fillmore were in an accident on September 4th at 5:53 in the morning. Thornton was traveling northbound on county highway 1. At approximately 170 North, a horse was on the roadway and Thornton struck the horse causing damage to the front end of his vehicle. After Thornton struck the horse, Miller was traveling northbound behind Thornton, and struck the horse as well. It caused damage to the driver’s side bumper, the step rack on the fuel tank, damage to driver’s side. Thornton was towed from the scene by Andy’s Garage. Miller’s vehicle was still driveable, and all drivers were unharmed.

 

44 year old George Bailey of Kincaid was arrested on Wednesday on a charge of receiving, possessing, or selling a stolen vehicle.
