The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News on Tuesday:
22 year old Dalton Emerson of Stonington was in an accident on September 3rd at 12:58 at night. Emerson was eastbound on County Road 1400 North at approximately 175 east, he lost control. Emerson crossed the westbound lane and entered the north ditch. He then overturned and came to rest on the driver’s side.
52 year old Tammy Turley of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday on a charge of failure to appear or answer question.
32 year old Benjamin Cummings of Pana was arrested on Monday on a charge of domestic battery.
51 year old Edward Shehi of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday on a charge of domestic battery.
62 year old Vickie Olive of Taylorville was arrested on Friday on a charge of misuse of a credit card.
46 year old James Brown of Taylorville was arrested on Friday on a charge of misuse of a credit card.
22 year old Deandre Douglas of Decatur was arrested on Friday on a charge of burglary.
39 year old Douglas Cowell of Taylorville was arrested on Friday on a charge of violating an order of protection.
32 year old Andrew Calvert of Taylorville was arrested on Saturday on a charge of domestic battery.
31 year old Ethan Alberts of Taylorville was arrested on Friday on a charge of violating an order of protection, and obstructing justice.
The Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests and accidents to Regional Radio News on Tuesday:
23 year old Moran Morris of Kincaid, and 17 year old Faith Maxwell of Taylorville were in an accident on August 31st at 5:40 in the afternoon. Morris was turning north onto North Webster Street from West Park Street. Maxwell was traveling North on North Webster Street. Morris merged into the left lane on North Webster and struck Maxwell. Maxwell’s vehicle received damage to the front passenger side bumper. Morris received damage to the driver's side front and back doors of the vehicle. Morris received a citation for improper lane usage.
48 year old Alan Mann of Taylorville was in an accident on August 27th at 11:10 in the morning. According to the accident report, unit 2 was parked in the parking lot of the Country Kitchen Restaurant. Mann parked next to unit 2, and was extending a bucket to cut a tree. Mann tipped over, causing the bucket arm to strike the windshield and front quarter panel of unit 2. Both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene.
50 year old Edward Shehi of Milwaukee was arrested on Saturday for domestic battery, and criminal damage to property.
52 year old Tamera Turley of Taylorville was arrested on Sunday on a Christian County Warrant.
