Area Arrests/Accidents 8/23/18

The Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News on Thursday:

 

45 year old Brian Richers of Fort Madison was in an accident on August 21st at 5:15 in the morning. Richers was traveling south bound in the right lane. A deer entered the roadway from the east. Richers hit the deer in the roadway according to the accident report.

 

62 year old Larry Odell of Chatham, and 36 year old Philip Schneider of Taylorville were in an accident on August 21st at 9:44 in the morning. According to the Sheriff’s report, Odell was north bound on county road 1. Schneider was also heading northbound on county 1. Schneider was also towing a corn head on a head mover. Odell was trying to pass Schneider, but there was oncoming traffic, and Odell struck the rear of Schneiders corn head. Both Schneider’s vehicle, and the corn head recieved major damage in the collision. Neither driver of the vehicle was injured.

 

The Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests and accidents to Regional Radio News on Thursday:

 

41 year old Danielle Coady-Johnson of Taylorville was arrested on Wednesday on a charge of driving with a suspended license.

 

On August 12th there was an accident on West Spresser Street in Taylorville at approximately 3:00 in the morning. Unit 2 and Unit 3 were both parked facing south in the parking lot behind the Y-Zoe’s bar on 1610 West Spresser Street. Unit 1 drove into the parking lot and struck the rear end of both vehicles. Unit 2 received damage on the driver’s side rear bumper. Unit 3 received damage to the rear bumper and the rear passenger side tail light. Unit 1 drove out of the parking lot and left the scene of the accident without being identified. The only information about unit 1 is that it may have been a white van.
