Area Arrests/Accidents 6/5/18

On Tuesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:

 

53-year-old Robert A. Buschon of Springfield was arrested for driving while license revoked.

 

On Tuesday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

 

70-year-old John R. Weaver was driving on Spresser St. and turned left White St. when he lost engine power and power steering. Weaver ran over a stop sign and was towed to his residence. No injuries reported.

 

On May 31st Rachel E. Strobel of Ramsey braked suddenly for a red light on Park Street when Colin D. Sevener of Taylorville rear ended her. Strobel’s vehicle had rear end damage and Sevener’s vehicle received major front end damage.

 

On June 3rd, 20-year-old Erin E. Charles of Taylorville was driving through the McDonald’s parking lot when 35-year-old Brian T. Pennell backed into Charles and then fled the scene. Charles followed Pennell to a Christian Coutnty Quick Lube location where Pennell then fled on foot. Police located Pennell later on the 400 block of E. Esther Street in Taylorville and Pennell was issued mulitple citations.

 

On Tuesday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

28-year-old Jordan R. Bartlett of Bulpitt was arrested Monday for driving on a suspended license.

 

24-year-old Dakota A. Shockely of Pana was arrested Monday for criminal sexual abuse. Bond was set at 5,000 dollars.

 

22-year-old Dylan M. Weber of Taylorville was arrested Monday for failure to appear.
