On Thursday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:

39-year-old Maurice L. Cooper of Springfield was arrested Thursday for driving on revoked license. Bond was set at 3,000 dollars.

25-year-old Christopher J. Johnson of Taylorville was arrested Thursday for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. Bond was set at 10,000.

21-year-old Michael S. Harshani of Pana was arrested Thursday for intent to commit theft.

30-year-old Toby A. Moyer of Pana was arrested on Thursday for Domestic Battery.

On Thursday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:

55-year-old Sandra J. Smalley of Nokomis was driving on US Highway 51 in Pana at 1:24 pm on Saturday when a deer struck her car. No injuries reported.

70-year-old Jean M. Weiscope of Warrensburg was driving on Illinois Route 51 in Assumption and when a deer entered the roadway. The deer struck Weiscope’s vehicle in the front, driver’s side panel and then impacted the driver’s door. Weiscope was transported to Decatur Memorial Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
