Area Arrests/Accidents 5/14/18

On Monday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

25-year-old Chiannah C. Dilley of Pana was arrested Friday on a Shelby County warrant.

 

35-year-old Sean W. King of Taylorville was arrested Friday for Domestic Battery, Criminal Damage to Property, and Violating an Order of Protection.

 

21-year-old Laekin N. Weller of Witt was arrested Saturday for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.

 

27-year-old Matthew D. Frayer of Witt was arrested Saturday for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver.

 

53-year-old Bobby Smith of Taylorville was arrested Sunday on a Christian County warrant.

 

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrest to Regional Radio News:


18-year-old Rachel G. Getz of Pana was arrested a Montgomery County warrant.


On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:


36-year-old Jessica R. Ashcraft of Pana was driving westbound on Second St. approaching Sheridan St. Saturday. 36-year-old Sarah E. Scoles of Pana was facing westbound on Second St. waiting to turn left onto Sheridan. Ashcraft did not see Scoles stopped and rear-ended her vehicle. Ashcraft was cited for Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident.

 

On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


27-year-old Tylour S. Howard of Springfield was arrested Friday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $5,000.


49-year-old Tammy R. Durbin of Stonington was arrested Friday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $5,000.


25-year-old Amber N. Durbin of Divernon was arrested Friday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $2,500.


35-year-old Carissa N. Villegas of Edinburg was arrested Friday for Battery.


30-year-old Samuel R. Fortner of Assumption was arrested Monday for Domestic Battery.


On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:


40-year-old Johnathan T. Pearson of Taylorville was driving eastbound on 200 N. Rd. May 6. At approximately 1650 E., Pearson’s vehicle traveled off the roadway and hit a concrete bridge. The vehicle continued, hit a utility box and went into a planted field. His vehicle went through the field and into a ditch about 30 yards from the roadway. Pearson was not on scene when the crash was reported.


26-year-old Morgan A. Cox of Blue Mound was driving northbound on Route 48 behind 25-year-old Kaitlyn R. Roy of Decatur Thursday. Cox did not see Roy slowing to turn into a driveway at 1724 N. Cox rear-ended Roy’s vehicle. No one was hurt.


A 15-year-old was driving westbound on County Road 600 N. Thursday. The 15-year-old did not slow down while approaching the intersection with 2300 E. Rd. The vehicle traveled across 2300 E. Rd. and into the ditch, striking the embankment and came to rest in the ditch. The 15-year-old had two other passengers in the vehicle. All three were taken to Pana Community Hospital via ambulance for their injuries.


32-year-old Whitney M. Harris of Decatur was driving northbound on 2200 E. Rd. Sunday. Harris failed to yield at the T-intersection 1880 N. Rd. and drove into a planted bean field. She left the scene of the crash and came back while police were on scene. Harris says she did not remember crashing and does not know what time it occured. Harris was cited for the accident.
