Area Arrests/Accidents 5/7/18

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

20-year-old Gerald J. Powysznski of Pana was arrested Friday for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Retail Theft Less Than $150.

 

19-year-old Theadocia N. Ginder of Pana was arrested Friday for Retail Theft.

 

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

 

27-year-old Amanda N. Williams of Pana was parking her vehicle at Walmart Friday when she failed to put the vehicle in park. She exited the vehicle and it rolled forward striking the vehicle of 82-year-old Roscoe V. Davis of Pana. No one was hurt.

 

21-year-old Alyssa J. Helm of Assumption was backing from a parking spot in the 200 block of E. First St. Saturday at the same time as 28-year-old Jessica L. Brozio of Pana. Helm struck the passenger side of Brozio’s vehicle. No one was hurt.

 

On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


31-year-old Danielle M. Weinert of Taylorville was arrested Friday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $3,000.


40-year-old Nicolas R. Dooley of Pana was arrested Sunday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $6,000.


29-year-old Trisha L. Barror of Pawnee was arrested Sunday for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


42-year-old Mandy Walsh of Kincaid was arrested Sunday for DUI Alcohol/Drugs.


On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:


30-year-old Adam M. Hammers of Irving was driving eastbound on Route 16 Friday. At approximately 1950 East, Hammers said something was in the middle of the road and he struck it with the front end of his vehicle. He says he could not tell what the object was. There was damage to his vehicle, but it was not towed.
