Area Arrests/Accidents 11/27/17

On Monday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

42-year-old Michael B. Harrelson of Decatur was arrested Friday on a Macon County warrant. Bond is set at $200.

 

A 16-year-old male juvenile of Taylorville was arrested Saturday for driving with a cancelled driver’s license and possession of cannabis more than 30 grams.

 

40-year-old Jacob T. Wafford of Tower Hill was arrested Saturday on a Christian County Bond Forfeiture warrant and driving with a suspended license. Bond is set at $400.

 

31-year-old Pamela J. Rozplochowski of Taylorville was arrested Saturday on a Christian County warrant for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. Bond is set at $5,000.

 

39-year-old Matthew A. Burke of Pana was arrested Saturday for Driving While License Revoked.

 

51-year-old Tamera Turley of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for driving while license expired for more than one year.

 

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


47-year-old Jack S. Terrill of Pana was arrested Tuesday for Violating a Protection Order and Being in Possession of Firearms with a Valid Protection order.


34-year-old Jacob O. Banning was arrested Tuesday for Criminal Trespassing to Vehicle and Obstructing a Peace Officer. He was also arrested Friday for Battery.


42-year-old Maggie D. Dust of Pana was arrested Tuesday for Domestic Battery.


28-year-old Tyler J. Dull of Pana was cited Wednesday for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.


18-year-old Ethan A. Durbin of Pana was arrested Wednesday for Illegal Possession of Alcohol. Two 17-year-olds with Durbin were issued citations, one for Possession of Cannabis less than 10 grams, and one for possession of drug paraphernalia.


18-year-old Jacob L. Snow of Pana was cited Wednesday for Illegal Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor.


38-year-old Justin L. Barnes of Pana was cited Wednesday for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.


40-year-old Daniel L. Osborn of Taylorville was cited Saturday for Operating an Uninsured Vehicle.

 

On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:


30-year-old James L. Bradley of Taylorville was arrested Wednesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $3,000.


26-year-old Kati M. Cook of Edinburg was arrested Wednesday for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.


38-year-old Michael P. Harris of Springfield was arrested Wednesday for Driving 105 in a 65 mph zone.


22-year-old Austin R. Webb or Moweaqua was arrested Saturday for Driving 35+ over the posted speed limit.


On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:


47-year-old Tonya S. Claxon of Pana was driving eastbound on 250 N. Rd. on November 13th when she says a deer ran into the road. She swerved to avoid missing the deer and lost control of the vehicle. She went off the south side of the road and traveled down the ditch. She was not hurt.


39-year-old Cynthia A Huddleston of Morrisonville was driving eastbound on 900 N. Rd. on November 15th when a deer entered the roadway and ran into the side of Huddleston’s vehicle. She was not hurt.


19-year-old Ashton L. Scott of Tovey was driving northbound on 300 E. Rd. Tuesday when she began to fishtail on the gravel surface and lost control. She slid off the roadway into the west ditch, causing her to roll onto the driver’s side. Scott was taken to Taylorville Memorial Hospital for her injuries.


33-year-old Ian G. Wilson of Taylorville was driving southbound on Houston St. Sunday when he went airborne crossing the railroad tracks before the intersection with Russell St. He landed on the front of the vehicle and continued across the northbound lane into a yard on the southeast side of the intersection. The car overturned in the yard and landed on its tires. Wilson was unharmed but transported to Taylorville Memorial Hospital by squad car. Wilson was given citations for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and DUI - Alcohol.
