Area Arrests/Accidents 6/19/17

On Monday the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

21-year-old Krystin D. Rodman of Taylorville was arrested Friday on a Christian County Bond Forfeiture warrant.

 

50-year-old Mara L. Bertinetti of Taylorville was arrested Friday for Driving while License Suspended or Revoked.

 

38-year-old Misty S. Mays of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for Driving while License Suspended.

 

22-year-old April N. Garcia of Pana was arrested Sunday on a Christian County Bond Forfeiture warrant.

 

21-year-old Sierra M. Durbin of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for Retail Theft.

 

47-year-old Joseph G. Beishir of Edinburg was arrested Sunday for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

 

53-year-old Michelle D. Brookens of Taylorville was arrested Sunday for DUI.

 

On Monday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:

 

70-year-old John B. Mann of Edinburg was driving southbound on State Street and stopped at 2nd. 50-year-old Rebecca S. Mahnke of Shelbyville was westbound on 2nd approaching State. Mann turned left onto 2nd and hit Mahnke. Mann said he saw Mahnke but he thought he had time to make the turn. Mann was cited for Failing to Yield at an Intersection.

 

On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

35-year-old Anthony W. Snow of Joplin, Missouri was arrested Friday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $2,500.

 

22-year-old Kyle A. Koehne of Kincaid was arrested Saturday for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.. No bond has been set.

 

23-year-old Emily K. Williams of Assumption was arrested Sunday for Driving with a Suspended License. No bond has been set.

 

25-year-old David W. Moore of Pana was arrested Sunday for Aggravated Battery, Resisting / Obstructing an Officer, Aggravated Battery of a Handicap Person, Criminal Trespassing to Land, and Threatening a Public Official. Bond is set at $15,000.

 

On Monday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

 

47-year-old Joseph G. Beishir of Edinburg was driving eastbound on Township Road 2050 North. A witness says Beishir drove off the roadway, through the ditch and struck a fence, damaging the fence. He then made his way back onto the road, and continued east until the intersection with Illinois Route 29. The witness said Beishir then turned soutbound and sped away at a high rate of speed. Beishir was lated arrested by Taylorville Police.

 

22-year-old Kyle A Koehne of Kincaid was driving northbound on County Highway 5 (700 East). At approximately 2050 North, he went off the roadway on the east side and traveled about 50 yards until he hit a ditch. He then overturned and landed on his wheels. When the Christian County Sheriff’s Office received a call about the crash, Koehne was not on scene. When deputies arrived on scene, Koehne was dropped off at the scene. Koehne was arrested for DUI.
