Area Arrests/Accidents 6/8/17

On Thursday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

31-year-old Nathan A. Hapner and 41-year-old Holly M. Hall were both arrested Wednesday for Theft over $300 and Possession of Controlled Substances. No bond has been set for Hapner or Hall.

 

On Thursday, the Taylorville Police Department reported the following accident to Regional Radio News:

 

23-year-old Rebecca E. Scott of Taylorville reported that she struck the car of Thomas W. Prehn Jr. of Herrick while backing out of her driveway. She was not hurt. The car was unoccupied and she attempted to locate the owner but was unsuccessful. She says she was late for work and called to report the accident on her way to work. Later, she could not provide proof of insurance and was cited.

 

25-year-old Franklin L. Boyd of Park Hills, MO was driving eastbound on East Park Street. He attempted to turn right onto North Cherokee, and hit the stop light post while making that turn. He was not hurt.

 

On Thursday, the Pana Police Department reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

30-year-old Joseph L. Ishmael of Pana was arrested Wednesday for Domestic Battery. No bond has been set.

 

23-year-old Penny A. Hardy of Pana was arrested Wednesday for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol No bond has been set.

 

On Thursday, the Pana Police Department reported the following accidents to Regional Radio News:

 

30-year-old Andrea R. McVey of Moweaqua was pulling out of Walmart and hit the car driven by 77-year-old Thomas O. Tolbert. No one was injured. McVey was cited for failure to yield into merging traffic.

 

On Thursday, the Christian County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to Regional Radio News:

 

25-year-old Omer T. Despres of Junction City was arrested Wednesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $2,000.

 

22-year-old Travis S. Moma of Assumption was arrested Wednesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $1,000.

 

33-year-old Zachry W. Bough of Morrisonville was arrested Wednesday on a Bond Forfeiture warrant. Bond is set at $2,000.
